Simon is a strategist, adviser, communications and campaigns expert, with policy, political and media experience gained at the highest levels in government and opposition, with a proven track record of delivery in high pressure environments.

As the former Director of Policy and Research at The Labour Party, he was responsible for overall strategic management and development of the Policy and Research Department, with responsibility for domestic and international policy, Partnership into Power (Labour’s policy making process), policy development, stakeholder engagement and liaison and political research.

In consultancy Simon has led large, multidisciplinary client accounts specialising in reputation, public policy and politics, and provided advice on communications, legislation, strategy and reputation. Clients have included Heathrow, National Grid, DeepMind, AstraZeneca, Dow, Google, Capita and NatWest.
