Simon is a former Director of Policy and Research at the Labour Party. He was responsible for overall strategic management and development of the Policy and Research Department, with responsibility for domestic and international policy, Partnership into Power (Labour’s policy making process), policy development, stakeholder engagement and liaison and political research.

In consultancy, Simon has led large, multidisciplinary client accounts specialising in public policy and politics, and provided advice on legislation, strategy, communications and reputation. Clients including National Grid, AstraZeneca, Dow, Google, Capita and NatWest.
